Note: | CalB immo Plus Food Grade is a recombinant Lipase B from Candida antarctica (CalB) produced by microbial fermentation with Pichia pastoris. CalB immo Plus Food Grade is suitable for applications in organic solvents as well as solvent-free systems and can be used for (regio- and stereoselective) esterifications and transesterifications. The lipase is immobilized by adsorption onto highly hydrophobic carrier ECR1030M (DVB/methacrylate). Lipase CalB immobilized on ECR1030M, 300-710 micron, supplied dry (<5% water), enzyme activity >9000PLU/gdry. The product is supplied in food-grade quality and conforms to the General Specifications and Considerations for Enzyme Preparations Used in Food Processing of the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA).
